Just before the holiday season takes hold of us we like to sit down and look into our crystal ball to predict some key trends for the year ahead. We have spent a large part of the latter half of 2024 discussing the future, including at our Hivestack UK event Programmatic Horizons, Insights and Innovation on DOOH and here is a summary of what we think will be possible in 2025. 

Looking back at 2024 we saw DOOH integrate further into the omnichannel digital landscape, early innovations and adoption of AI and many conversations around sustainability, measurement and the role of data. As we approach a new year, we anticipate that 2025 will be focused on sophistication of the ecosystem and strategies that will see many new opportunities for advertisers to refine their media planning, buying and delivery of campaigns, ultimately driving better, more targeted results. 

From a more cohesive omnichannel digital ecosystem to smart cities driven by IoT and 5G infrastructure to Generative AI and Large Language Models, our tech and how we leverage it is becoming more sophisticated. Of course Retail Networks are here to stay but with more utility and we can’t forget about the tools and features that drive personalization and creativity. 2025 will be an incredible year for continued growth in DOOH across the globe.
